Our practice has been involved in the design of transport masterplans, station modernisation programmes, train crew accommodation, signal/relay buildings, maintenance workshops and retail units. We have worked on many of the major London terminal stations including St. Pancras, Kings Cross and Waterloo and on a some of the busiest Tube stations including Elephant and Castle, Covent Garden, Southfields and Bank. In Ireland, we have designed new stations and infrastructure for a commuter railway from Dublin to Dunboyne, and the upgrading of the Glounthaune to Midleton rail network in Cork.
We have designed the New Harristown bus garage which is the first new station to be built by Dublin Bus company in over thirty years. The practice has also upgraded Dublin’s historically protected Broadstone Depot in Dublin, and are currently working on proposals for a new garage at Grange Castle which allows for the operation and maintenance of 250 vehicles. In the UK, Devereux Architects has designed the award winning Stanley Bus Interchange in County Durham, and have delivered proposals for completed depots, garages and workshops in Sunderland, Oxford, Edmonton & Luton.
Over the past ten years we have expanded our portfolio of projects for airports, having designed the new Luton Parkway Station and parking facilities for Luton Airport in 1999. Since then, we have contributed to masterplan proposals and new restaurant and retail facilities for Dublin Airport and have produced a number of new terminal concept proposals for airports in Poland.
