Centre of Innovation, Jagiellonian University

The Jagiellonian Centre of Innovation is the first project of its kind in Central Europe. The Centre creates and develops a state of the art facility for hi-tech companies operating in the biotechnology and biomedicine sectors and those working on the development and commercial launching of bio-products in cooperation with industry.

The construction of the Park comprises the creation of specialist infrastructure related to research in life sciences. Central to the project is the construction of a laboratory and office building with an underground garage and total area of approximately 8,090 sqm.

The development consists of three linked buildings. The first building with total area of 6,000 sqm, offers rental areas to large companies. Devereux Architects designed the masterplan for the site, and the first Biotechnological Incubator and Life Science facility along with animal husbandry and research support zones. The Bio-Incubator, the total area of which will be approx. 7,500 sqm, will be destined for small and medium size companies and start-up projects.
