Centre for Enterprise, University of Teesside

The new Centre for Enterprise is the latest in the University’s expansion plans on the Middlesbrough town centre campus.

The centre is a three storey extension to the Computing Maths and Science department and as well as new IT facilities, provides a first point of contact with the University for local businesses and employers. It comprises a 70 place adaptable conference facility with up to date audio visual equipment, break out space and meeting rooms for groups of up to 30 people. A new information technology suite provides eight new computer teaching laboratories with server rooms, special computer research rooms (such as laser capture) and student support facilities. Also integrated into the new centre is a reception area, interview facilities, catering amenities and flexible exhibition space. A business centre for SMEs has also been incorporated into the design.
