Nic joined Devereux Architects in 1986. In 2007 when Devereux Architects merged with the PM Group, Nic took responsibility for the International Architectural Practice with offices in the UK, Ireland, Poland, Benelux and the Middle East and 250 staff.
Nic’s experience ranges across many building sectors including both public and private sector housing, educational and commercial projects and a broad range of healthcare and research projects. He has been responsible for urban design projects including high density mixed developments and master planning.
He has been instrumental in developing the practice’s urban design work in recognition of the necessity to consider the wider urban or rural context of projects and also for masterplans and strategic development plans. Through the practice’s work in healthcare, education and housing he has led the developments in masterplanning and urban design for major sites. These include redevelopments of the major hospital sites to intensify their use and to allow surplus land to be released.
