Mark joined Devereux Architects in 1996 and became a Director of the company in 2007. Mark has experience across a wide range of sectors including housing, retail and arts and leisure. Mark successfully led the Egyptian and Korean Gallery projects at the British Museum from inception to completion. Recently he has used the skills developed across a wide number of projects to great effect in the healthcare sector and now leads the mental health sector.
Mark’s specialism in mental health design includes medium secure, low secure, PICU, adult acute, children and adolescent, rehabilitation, detox, older persons and functional and dementia. Mark also has considerable experience in both the care home and learning disability sectors.
Building strong relationships with clients and the design team is a key feature of Mark’s projects and this creates the foundation for success.
