Duncan is responsible for the Urban Design division throughout the UK and Internationally. In this role he is responsible for the management and growth of the service and is active in promoting the core skills of urban design throughout the practice, to its partners and with clients. His main focus is on regeneration and masterplanning projects whilst providing design advice at the early stages of projects to the architectural teams.
Duncan has extensive experience in both the private and public sectors. Duncan has led the masterplan for Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust which sets in place the development of the Addenbrooke’s Hospital and wider Cambridge Biomedical Campus up to 2020. Duncan was recently project leader for a design charette in Perm, Russia for the development a new area of the city.
Duncan was Chairman of the Urban Design Group from 2008-10 and sits on the Landscape Institute’s Accreditation Group for the Landscape and Urban Design Degree courses at Kingston University.
