Aleksander joined Devereux Architects in 2010 as Senior Architect for our Russian office in Moscow.
He studied Architecture at the Vologda State Technical University (2001), and completed Postgraduate studies in Theory & History of Art at the Russian Institute for Cultural Research in Moscow (2004).
Before joining Devereux Architects, Alexsander was employed as the City of Vytegra’s Chief Architect and Head of City Planning Department. He has also worked for several Russian and international design bureaus performing the role of Lead Architect for a variety of construction projects across the region. He has contributed to several industrial, sports, residential and urban planning projects in Russia including permission design and management of sport and resort strategies within the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics Program.
Aleksander has published papers, including a study of “Ethnic-environment Habitation in Russian North: conception and programming” for Cut-Inform Press, and has presented drawings in the Young Artist's Exhibition at Moscow Zverev Centre.
